I was told recently that the Police armed defenders squad have been seen around Lake Alice which I gather would have been for training as it had been going on for around a week plus what else would they do out in a place like that, don't say to arrest trespasses because that would be a waste of tax payers money. Please make note of the person who left a helpful comment on the blog entry below which will be of interest as they where out there in the weekend (20/9) by day and their were arrests. The main Swimming pool was knocked down a few months ago and it appears after the Police's visit a small part of the Nurses quarters has been demolished. I would say this is leading the way slowly for the rest of the derelict buildings to follow, It was only a matter of time! Pictures: left Nurses quarters , Right Pool

Recently there was a incident where a group of people where caught out at LA late one night last week. They where arrested by the police, this is a warning to others to be careful because the owners are clearly on high alert. Remember if you do go there and take or vandalize anything you are giving the police a reason to arrest you.
Make sure to leave a comment if you have information about the going on's at the hospital as I know it's still a hot spot for visitors and with Halloween next month it will only attract many more!! Will add more on these subjects soon... I'm thinking of trying out the idea of a gallery/page on the website dedicated to other peoples photography/pictures of Lake Alice or maybe even other defunct places in general. This which may lead to in the future such things as uploading your own images etc. Of course you would remain soul copyright owner of all images and I would happily remove your content at your request if you decided after awhile you don't want it online. So if you are interested in having your pictures posted on the website email it through to me so we can try it out...
